A new and ambitious restaurant has opened on Laugavegur: Dímon 11 Gastropub. The restaurant emphasizes flavorful cuisine and a relaxed, personal atmosphere.

The restaurant defines itself as a gastropub and offers a casual, stylish and slightly rustic atmosphere where ingredients, cooking techniques and ideas meet with care and sensitivity. The menu includes everything from street food such as burgers, ribs, fries and snacks with various versions, to fish dishes, soups and sandwiches. The kitchen features both a grill and a smoke oven, which will leave their mark on the taste and presentation of the dishes.

To begin with, Dímon 11 is open daily from 4:00 PM, and the kitchen is open until 10:00 PM. Although there is no formal evening program on the schedule, the owners are open for live music and events as the fall progresses.
