Menam WOK is a new and exciting place in Mathöll Höfði in Reykjavík.

Menam first opened as a restaurant at Eyravegur 8 in Selfoss in 1997 and has been owned by the same extended Icelandic family since 1999. After a short break, Menam Thai and Menam Dim Sum opened in Mjólkurbúin Mathöll in the new downtown area of ??Selfoss.

Menam, which is Thai and means by the river, offers delicious dishes made from fresh, quality ingredients, cooked under Thai influence. By using the best possible ingredients from the local area each time and cooking with the magic of Thai cuisine, we bring out the best of both worlds.

Recipes for the dishes have their roots in Menam's Thai founder and our talented staff over the years. We have been introduced to the magic of Thai cuisine and learned firsthand from Thais who have worked for the family over the years - and some of whom still do. With that knowledge, the foundation has been built for Menam as it is today.

At Menam WOK in Mathöll Höfði we offer fresh and tempting WOK dishes based on the renowned Menam recipes. Freshness and quality ingredients play a key role in the dishes, which are WOK-cooked to order.
