Experience one of North Iceland’s most renowned Christmas buffets, famous for its exceptional flavors, generous variety (over 40 dishes), and warm, attentive service. Our festive spread brings together traditional Icelandic holiday favorites and modern seasonal creations, with something for every taste — including an excellent selection for vegans and vegetarians.

Indulge in a rich assortment of cold dishes such as smoked and cured Icelandic lamb, glazed ham, hangikjöt (traditional smoked lamb), a variety of festive herrings, gravlax, hot-smoked salmon, giant prawns, wild game pâté, and vegan smoked “lox.”

Our hot dishes feature roasted leg of lamb with wild herbs, tender beef steak, reindeer meatballs, roast turkey breast, root vegetables, creamy potato gratin, caramelized potatoes, red cabbage, and a choice of flavorful sauces, from red wine and wild mushroom to garlic and balsamic jus. Unique specialties such as roasted cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and vegan beet Wellington add even more variety.

The dessert table is a feast in itself — from traditional Icelandic “laufabrauð” (crispy fried bread) to chocolate cake, creamy skyr cake, ris a la mande (Danish rice pudding with almonds), crème brûlée, and festive cookies and confections, served with freshly brewed coffee and tea.

We offer our Christmas buffet on Fridays and Saturdays from the 14th of November until the 12th of December.
