Thorvaldsensstræti 2, 101 Reykjavík
Over the years, the hall has been known by various names - originally, the building was called the Independence House by Austurvöllur and the hall has a strong connection to Icelandic music history, where concerts and dances took place from the middle of the last century. Later, it became the entertainment venue Sigtún, and even later the Nasa entertainment venue operated there for a period. Today, the hall has been meticulously renovated, with efforts made to recreate its original appearance.
The hall features a large stage with a curtain above it. There are also curtains and projectors on both sides of the stage. A basic sound system is in place, but it is appropriate to to check if additional artists require additional equipment thoroughly
The hall has a capacity of 250 guests.
It is possible to set up tables in various ways, depending on whether it's a seated or standing reception.
The maximum number of seats at round tables is 160 guests.
