Áskirkja's larger congregational hall, Ás, seats about 160 people, or about 300 people, for a standing party and is on two platforms, a Flyer and a sound system. Reception kitchen, tableware and fabric rental. The hall Ás is on the same floor as the church ship itself. The ceiling height of the hall is high and relaxing with simple yet elegant lighting reminiscent of stars. Extraordinarily tall windows. A big lobby with coat hangers in two places along with toilets.

The entrance to the hall is from the West Edge. There is a lot of parking, but bus 14 also runs just outside. The triangular architectural form of Áskirkja is well known as it can be seen from many parts of the city. Its location is among the best in central Reykjavík, where it stands high above Laugardalur valley with stunning views and above it is Laugarás protected natural sites. The beautiful surroundings of the church are often used for photo shoots alongside parties and activities.
